Meet the TC PosterClub Ride not only looks for ways to help you improve your commute options program, but we also look for ways to improve our own. Beginning this year, Club Ride is happy to announce that it will expand its telework consultation services.

If you’ve never considered a formal telework program for your employees, here a few reasons why you should call your Club Ride outreach coordinator to learn how you can get started:

  1. Save money. Not only will your employees save due to eliminated commute days, but your business will save as well – on office space, parking fees, staff turnover and more.
  2. Improve recruitment. Attract top talent by providing a better work/life balance than your competitors.
  3. Increase productivity. Every boss wants more out of their employees in less time, and teleworking does just that. National studies show that employees who telework are 10-20 percent more productive than their in-office counterparts.
  4. Reduce absenteeism. We all know what it’s like to feel like you’re falling behind in household duties and personal errands. Employees who telework use 2-4 fewer “sick days” per year thanks to the time they save from not having to commute to the office.
  5. Improve morale. Employees who have the option to telework, even occasionally, are happier due to less stress, reduced commute costs, and more time to spend at home with friends and family.

We know that teleworking is not possible for every employee at every job, but there are countless positions that are well-suited, including many industries that may not immediately come to mind, such as healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, education, government and many others.

So before you forget, write a note to yourself to get in touch with your outreach coordinator. Or better yet, pick up the phone and give us a call at 288-RIDE (7433) to get started.

And don’t forget: New resources are coming to the Club Ride Web site, and our first TC Networking event on February 4th will be an introduction to teleworking and alternative work schedules. Don’t miss it!
