Using funding provided through the RTC of Southern Nevada, the City of Mesquite is working on a plan to improve transportation for everyone. As part of this effort, we're inviting you to join us for a walk and bike audit to help make sure our streets, sidewalks, and bike paths are safe and easy to use. This is your chance to help improve Mesquite!
Why are we updating our transportation plan?
As Mesquite grows, we need to make sure our streets, roads, and paths can handle more people walking, biking, and driving. The updated plan will help us decide which projects to work on first to fix problems and make transportation safer and easier for everyone.
What is a Walk and Bike Audit?
Walk and bike audits are events where you get to walk or bike around the city and share your thoughts about how safe and comfortable the roads are. You’ll help us spot places that need fixing and suggest ways to make things better. Your ideas will help us make Mesquite a safer and better place for everyone to travel.
When:
- Walk Audit | Friday, February 28, 2025 | 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Bike Audit | Friday, February 28, 2025 | 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
