The first Las Vegas Strip closure due to COVID-19 presented the RTC with a unique opportunity to expedite a bus shelter project. Usually, the large crowds of pedestrians and vehicle traffic on the famed Las Vegas Boulevard make it difficult to do construction work at bus stops. Before reopening last week, the strip was virtually empty, clearing the path for crews to give 25 bus shelters a makeover. The project will be completed this weekend.
